Shared dashboards

Send a read-only view of a Spanly dashboard to customers, vendors, or your wider team.

A shared dashboard is a snapshot of a Spanly view – a project overview, a per-server page, a request explorer – exposed at a stable URL that you can hand out to people without a Spanly account.

What you can share

  • A project overview with the standard request / error / latency charts.
  • A single server or single client page, filtered down to one integration.
  • A custom time range locked at share time, or a rolling window (last 24 h, last 7 d, etc.) that auto-updates.

Access controls

Each shared dashboard has its own access policy:

  • Public link – anyone with the URL can view.
  • Password-protected – link plus a passphrase.
  • Email allowlist – viewers receive a magic link and must authenticate.

You can revoke or rotate the link at any time from the Sharing tab on the dashboard. Revoked links return a 404 immediately.

What viewers can do

Viewers see exactly the slice of data you scoped the share to. They cannot:

  • See other projects, servers, or clients.
  • Change filters that would widen the view.
  • See raw request payloads unless you explicitly opt in per share.

Status

Shared dashboards is rolling out. Email support@spanly.com if you need a specific view type that isn't shareable yet.
